No, it's just the colouring on her face. I thought that at first to and I checked her out. No scrapes or nothing. She's perfectly healthy and happy.
We get a bird every year in the same nest, two years in a row we had robins and then this year this morning dove took over. It's intriguing to watch them reuse nests the way birds do.
I did that once. Their feathers are so surprisingly soft!
